Vengeance Performance owner Aaron Schaff and builder Kyle Anderson took on the challenge of building a Ford 350 Super Duty crew cab for SEMA’s 2010 show. Since 2008, Vengeance Performance, located in Rimby, Alb., has been working on select projects with high-profile companies. The company builds racing and sled-pulling applications in the diesel industry, tuning them beyond typical street truck performance. The company’s specialty is in manufacturing high-performance diesel electronics offering vehicle owners advanced capabilities to modify their ECM with standard or all-out custom tuning.

Vengeance’s first off-the-shelf consumer application is set to release this spring in the form of the Eclipse Downloader. The Downloader will initially function with the Dodge Cummins 6.7L; additional applications will be released throughout the year. For the SEMA show, the idea was to create a high-performance, beefy, clean-looking, comfortable truck for recreational use and for towing such toys as boats, toy haulers and other fun things. To that end Vengeance reached out to partner companies in order to outfit the F-350 SD truck while, of course, using its tuning products to enhance the engine’s performance.

The Ford 350 engine was highly tuned with Vengeance Performance Downloaders. The builder then added Snow Performance’s MPG Max Water Methanol injection and Nitrous Express Diesel Stacker 3 nitrous kit for added power. The aFe exhaust and intake needed to be installed to handle this added power. A Titan Super Series fuel tank also made its way onto the truck’s performance package

The builders paid particular attention to the interior because they knew that the ramped-up engine would certainly be noisy. They first installed the Dynamat sound dampening audio kit — actually, they doubled the installation. They also included Westin-Wade’s Sure-Fit floor mats to protect the carpet and the Dynamat. They then added a Memphis Audio speaker system (10" subs & 6.9 component sets; 1,500W amp capacitors) for enhanced sound and added entertainment.

The exterior needed to reflect the feel of the truck’s power and to give it a finished, polished look. The team at Vengeance Performance went with a modified offroad style by adding Bushwacker Street Style fender flares to handle the wider RBP rims and Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ 35x13.50R20 Tires. The builders of course lifted the truck, here using Ready Lift’s 3.5" Stage 3TP SST lift kit.

The offroad styling continued by adding Westin’s HDX grille guard, billet grille, MAX tow hooks and winch tray along with the Westin T-MAX Outback Series EWI 12,000-lb. winch with synthetic rope, and topped it off with Westin offroad lights.

For new lighting, Recon LED Lights included tail lights, third brake, mirrors, cab lights and under-rail bed lights.

The final restyling details included Westin-Wade wind deflectors and bug shields, and Premier 6" oval side bar. The truck was finished with the installation of the Leer 500 Series tonneau cover and BedRug bed mat.

What Vengeance Performance ended up with is a truck that is worthy of being a truck owner’s dream.
