In north central Texas lies the city of Wichita Falls, just 15 miles south of the Oklahoma border. Closer in, five miles north of the city, is Sheppard Air Force Base. Serving the folks who are all about their 4x4s and the offroad fun they bring in this greater Wichita Falls area of Texas and Oklahoma is Rock & Roll Offroad.
Rock & Roll Offroad has a lifestyle look and feel for every project it does. The tech talent at this offroad center, led by owner Jared Pugh, more than just add on parts for their customers’ four-wheelers — they consult with the owners and choose the most appropriate parts tailored to the vehicle, the driver’s needs and habits, and how much the owners want to spend.
For this project, Jeep Wrangler Rubicon owner Ashley Eiserloh wanted something that would be unique to him.
“We chose to give the Jeep a modern look, and at the same time keep it offroad-oriented,” Rock & Roll’s Pugh says. “This look is popular now because it shows that projects can have a theme and an attitude when they are complete. With our Special Edition vehicles customers can have something truly exclusive.”
The shop took the 2008, six-cylinder, four-door Wrangler Rubicon and gave it the company’s Special Edition Conversion.
A 4" full-suspension lift by Rough Country coupled with Rough Country’s custom shocks put some extra sturdy strength and stability to the Jeep. And to give that offroad traction some extra grip a set of 35x12.50R18 Toyo M/T tires were added to Rolling Big Power 18" x 10" 94R black-and-chrome wheels.
Gone was the Rubicon’s stock exhaust, replaced with a Borla Performance exhaust system.

Add some Vision X lights bulb replacements, R&R Offroad’s own Special Edition Vehicle tags to compliment this black-on-black and chrome Jeep Rubicon, plus Husky Liners floor mats, and the vehicle is getting ready in style for the road.
But Rock & Roll’s team and the Jeep’s owner aren’t done. More parts are in the works including a Fab Fours front bumper, a Warn winch and more.
